Acrylic painting on canvas board panel. This piece is about my hesitations of going far away for college. It's a simple quick piece, did it in a night... just as a catharsis really. The city and the electricity lines are my home, symbolically... the birds are my friends, flying up (arrows) towards their dreams (clouds) into the sky, but the painting is grounded because I am scared to just up and fly away... even though I can't really wait to be on my own.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
